I've been working on my book dummy for Poppy and I decided to redesigned her. Making her younger, about 5 years old, made the story flow better and she fits in with the forest sprites much better. Also, in my world, younger children are more perceptive to spirits and creatures. They are not yet filled with the fears of monsters, ghosts, and all the scary stuff our culture invents. They keep an open mind and allow their curiosity to lead them to new and exciting world!
I can't remember if I've posted a sketch of the forest sprites before...Here they are again if I haven't. And yes, I do realize Poppy and the forest sprites look like they don't come from the same story. I sketched the sprites a long time ago, and I will probably change their design a bit.
